Dtac appoints new CFO
Total Access Communication Plc (Dtac) has appointed Petter B. Furberg as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect.
Petter B. Furberg has been with Dtac for over seven years. Immediately before his most recent appointment, he was Ctac’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) since June 2010. Prior to that, he has held the position of CFO at Dtac between 2004 to 2007, during which period he played an important role in the successful listing of dtac on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in 2007, making Dtac Thailand’s first dual listed company, after having been listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in 1995.
Jon Eddy Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dtac said “After several months of extensive effort to find the right candidate, both in Thailand and international, for the CFO position, we have decided to reappoint Petter to the CFO position. Petter has a solid industry, financial and operational background which would enable him to make strong contributions to the business during this important phase of the Thai telecom industry, particularly with the upcoming 2.1 GHz auction. I am very pleased that Petter has agreed to accept his reappointment as dtac’s CFO.”
“For the time being, Petter will serve as both the CFO and CMO of dtac,” Abdullah concluded.
