Schneider Electric expects Bt7 bn sales

Schneider Electric Thailand expects to increase sales to Bt7 billion this year from Bt6 billion last year on the uptrend in the energy management business.

Ruengchai Charurungsipong, vice president for the building market, said yesterday that the government supports the efficient use of energy.
President Nelson Yeap said the blackout in 14 provinces in the South a few months ago reflected the country’s problems with energy management. The government has to focus more on ensuring efficient power management.
Schneider, the global specialist in energy management, has energy management expertise and related innovative technologies.
The energy crisis is not just a case for state policy. Business, industry and communities have to join forces to promote efficient energy use, he added.
Schneider will hold the Xperience Efficiency 2013 fair on August 6 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre to showcase its energy management solutions and technologies.
