AIS, TCDC aim to inspire young creatives with new AIS Design Centre in Bangkok
Advanced Info Service (AIS) has partnered with the Thailand Creative and Design Centre (TCDC) to establish the AIS Design Centre (AIS DC for short) – a tech space and playground in the heart of Bangkok for the new Thai generation to get inspired by the worlds of new technologies, design and business.
This new space has been created for start-ups and creatives to share their ideas, inspiration and knowledge, so they can further sharpen their creative edge and create their own businesses.
AIS has set the ambitious goal of developing the AIS DC into a world-class creator community.
The venue is fully outfitted with top-notch technologies, innovations and digital tools for creating promising products and services.
The AIS DC consists of six zones – library, meeting room, exhibition area, seminar/workshop, studio and playground – all of which are wired up with a broadband Internet network boasting gigabyte-level connection speed.
The new space, which will be officially opened to the public on July 13, is located on the fifth floor – where the TCDC was once situated – of the Emporium shopping mall.
The annual membership fee for the general public is Bt1,200, while the fee for students is Bt600.
AIS DC members are also entitled to use the facilities of every branch of the TCDC.
