The JV’s foundation comprises VGI’s OOH media inventories, Rabbit’s data and AnyMind Group’s AI-based technology and digital platform. This will allow the joint venture to offer products that combine the power of data optimisation and advertising spaces to the market.
The partnership extends VGI’s offering in the increasingly important market segment of digital out-of-home media and leveraging AnyMind Group’s technology and digital platform to deliver performance-driven, dynamic and highly-targeted ads offline and online – creating a seamless O2O customer journey, the company’s chief executive officer Nelson Leung said.
In the definitive agreements, VGI will invest Bt1 million, equivalent to a 49 per cent stake in the joint venture after a closure of AnyMind Group’s Series B Plus round at $8 million on March 20, bringing AnyMind Group’s Series B total to $21.4 million and total current funding to $35.9 million.
The new investors include VGI and Tokyo Century Corporation, a Japanese financial services company.
