NOD TO LOGISTICS PROJECTS
Public-Private Partnership Committee (PPP) has approved the proposed investments in two logistics projects worth a total of Bt4 billion: the logistic hub at Nakhon Phanom costing Bt1.36 billion and a Bt2.82 billion transit-logistic centre at Chiang Klong district, Chiang Rai province.
Prapas Kong-led, secretary of the PPP committee, said after the meeting chaired by deputy prime minister Somkid Jatusripitak yesterday that the government will invest in land and infrastructure for the two projects while the private sector will be responsibe for building development, equipment purchase as well as operation and management costs under 30-year contracts. Prapas Kong-led is also the director-general of State Enterprise Policy Office of the Finance Ministry
Meanwhile, the committee has also asked the Transport Ministry to speed up eight projects under the PPP Fast Track programme.
