Toxic air cost the country Bt14.5 billion

Kasikorn Research Centre estimates the impact from the PM2.5 air pollution (particles of 2.5 micrograms per cubic metre of air) over Bangkok and its suburbs cost the nation at least Bt14.5 billion as it extended beyond 65 days. 

“This was the impact on the lifestyle of the people of Bangkok and its suburbs, and also the impact on their spending,” the research found.
