BT2.5 BN ALLOCATED FOR COMMUNITY WASTE PLAN
The Energy Conservation Promotion Fund (Encon Fund) has allocated Bt2.5 billion for the Ministry of Interior's community waste management scheme - a part of the national agenda.
Energy Minister Siri Jirapongphan said, after an Encon Fund meeting yesterday, that the fund's proposed additional budget of Bt6.8 billion has been approved, out of the remaining Bt9.3 billion, for fiscal year 2019 while the balance of Bt2.5 billion will go towards the community waste management scheme, to be carried out by the local administrative organisations under the guidance of the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Energy,
