22 regional journalists in Thailand for VDO shooting
Twenty-two multimedia journalists from leading Asian media are visiting four Thai destinations for VDO training and shooting under Asia News Network's and Photography Multimedia Fellowships.
The destinations are Surin, Chiang Mai, Sukhothai, Ayudhya. They will also attend the Loy Kratong festival later this week.
The fellowships are jointly supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the Royal Initiative Discovery, Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association, Asia News Network and Nation Group under the “Stronger United Thailand Campaign”.
The journalists are from China Daily, Dawn of Pakistan, Vietnam News, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Brunei Times, Jakarta Post, the Kathmandu Post, Malaysia’s The Star and Sin Chew Daily, The China Post, Myanmar’s Eleven Media Group, India’s Hindustan Times, Bhutan’s Kuensel, and The Nation.
They were welcomed by Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Deputy Governor Sugree Sithivanich at Now26 Studio, Siam Sq, on Sunday, where a workshop was conducted for the participants by Ivan Abreu and Claudia Hinterseer from China Daily’s Multimedia Project Development Unit.
