Third anniversary of the missing Malaysia Airlines MH 370

The plane went missing on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with all 239 people on board on March 8. Authorities from the governments of Australia, China and Malaysia suspended the search for the plane in January 2017. The three nations conducted an extensive underwater search of a 120,000 square-kilometer area in the Indian Ocean. Debris found off Africa's east coast, believed to belong to the wreckage of the missing airliner, is said to help investigators locate the plane.//EPA
