The Consulate’s Facebook page reported that it had contacted local agencies, the Thai-American community as well as Thai media there.
It said there had been no information of Thais being hit in the attack.
It requested those who have information or wish to check information involving Thai nationals to submit the names in English to the Consulate’s 24-hour hotline; (323) 580-4222.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that 59 people were killed and more than 500 injured in the Las Vegas Strip shooting. The suspect, a lone gunman, killed himself in his 32nd- floor room of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
