International conference on nano-tech opens in HCM City
TWELVE world-leading experts on nano technology from Japan, Singapore and the US gathered at the “International Conference on Nano-technology and Materials Application” at Soi Gon High-Tech Park (SHTP) in HCM City yesterday.
“For the last two decades, nano-technology and materials has been one of four key invested fields in SHTP and HCM City,” LebHoai Quoc, head of SHTP’s management board, said. Nano-technology is applied in a wide range of industry, including materials, electronics, chipsets, food, biology and aerospace.
“Through the conference, we would like to increase connectivity and co-operation between universities, businesses and institutes for nano-technology and promote technology transfer from universities and institutes to enterprises,” he added.
At the conference, experts presented the latest research results and new applications of nanotechnology now being used around the world.
