Three arrested with 76,000 meth pills in Si Sa Ket

Three men have been arrested in Si Sa Ket province while allegedly smuggling 76,000 methamphetamine pills and 99.7 grams of crystal meth, police said on Wednesday.

The arrest of Supat Sri-sa-ard, 27, Patiphan Rujiyapanon, 24 and Jongrak Wonwien, 24, was announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

Police said the three were arrested at a road checkpoint in Tambon Krasaeng in the Kantharak district.

Supat, the driver, admitted that he was hired to smuggle the drug from the Muang district of Ubon Ratchathani province to Buri Ram province.
