His Majesty sends 3,000 blankets to poor people in Korat
His Majesty the King graciously had a privy councillor hand out 3,000 blankets to poor families in Nakhon Ratchasima on Thursday.
Privy Councillor ACM Jom Rungsawang represented His Majesty to give the blankets to the poor families in three ceremonies.
The first ceremony was held at the meeting room of the Kham Thalay Sor district office at 9am to give 1,000 blankets to 1,000 families from Kham Thalay Sor and None Thai districts.
The second ceremony was held the meeting room of the Chalerm Phrakiat district office to hand out 1,000 blankets to 1,000 families from Chakkarat and Chalerm Phrakiat districts.
The third ceremony was held in the afternoon at the meeting room of the Chokchai district office to give 1,000 blankets to 1,000 families from Khon Buri and Chokchai districts.
The privy councillor also read a message from His Majesty, expressing his concern for the poor who have been affected by the cold spell in the northeastern province.
