And the Thai-Spanish beauty isn’t talking about jetting to the A-list resorts favoured by the rich and famous. She much prefers destinations that have yet to be discovered.
A keen photographer, she regularly posts images of her travels on her fan club’s social network page and recently dropped into the Big Camera Festival 2017 at Central Lat Phrao to talk about her “wanderlust” style.
“I have always loved the adventure of travel – the destinations, something different and something new, which aren’t yet known by tourists – and I prefer travelling out of season too. I would love to go to Iceland in the winter, to be at one with nature and see the northern lights. I plan to spend the Songkran holidays in Maldives,” says Margie, who hosts the YouTube travel programme “Pokkie on the Run”.
“Every time I go to a journey, my digital camera is my travelling companion. Formerly I used my mobile phone for taking photographs, but the quality wasn’t as good as a camera. Nowadays, cameras are small, light, portable and easy to use and it’s quick and simple to upload the photos. That makes it more convenient for sharing files on the social network,” she adds.
Fellow travellers and photography enthusiasts can check out the Big Camera Festival 2017, which runs through Thursday (April 6). It’s open from 10am to 10pm.
