In a press release issued on Friday, organiser Kwanchai Paphatphong said total revenues generated at this year&rsquo;s show were estimated at over Bt56 billion. 
Car sales were up by more than 10 per cent compared to last year with the top brand being Honda (6,842), Mazda (6,509), Toyota (5,907), Isuzu (4,437) and Mitsubishi (3,619). 
Honda was also the top motorcycle brand with 1,531 orders followed by Yamaha (1,111), Lambretta (1,012), Kawasaki (775) and Vespa (605). 
More than 1.5 million visitors came to the event, up 12.8 per cent.

Sales top Bt56 billion at this year's Motor Expo

More than 45,000 orders were placed for automobiles and more than 9,000 orders were placed for motorcycles at the recently-concluded Thailand International Motor Expo.
