Denla welcomes leaders of Cambodian private school network to Bangkok

A delegation from NTC Group, Cambodia’s largest private school network with 27 campuses across the country, visited Denla British School on August 2nd on an information-sharing mission, as well as to discuss plans for a future partnership.

DBS positions itself as a premium international school with international recognition, and is a member of the Council of International Schools. The Bangkok school’s distinctive feature is its enhanced British curriculum that is all taught by native English-speaking teachers (apart from Thai and Mandarin subjects).
DBS also focuses on multilingual ability in English, Thai and Chinese; academic excellence for all; an entrepreneurship and creative thinking mindset; community and global perspectives, including preserving “Thainess”, according to a Monday release.
A major feature is the focus on student well-being, involving guidance by experienced teachers to help each student achieve his or her goals. Another feature that sets DBS apart from other schools, according to the release, is the extended day programme: an additional afternoon period for engaging in activities such as sport, music and art. This programme follows the model in leading private schools in the UK, and as a result, students pick up important life skills.
DBS is on 60 rai (9.6 hectares( of land located on Ratchapruek road. The school comes with high-tech school equipment and world-class facilities for maximum efficiency in learning, teaching and student activities. A wide variety of facilities support the potential development of all student, including a full-sized football field with FIFA-preferred two-star turf, 400-metre athletic tracks, basketball courts, tennis courts, golf training facility, (salt water) swimming pools, a large indoor sports hall, a covered outdoor sports hall, a theatre, music rooms, a library, dance studios and more. The school aims to nurture future global leaders.
