She added that Sena Hankyu Hanshin plans to launch new projects in the premium segment this year and the next, in a move to develop products and services that respond to the requirements of high-end customers whose purchasing power is high. Consumers in this segment need quality and unique products that match their lifestyle and make them feel special at an affordable price. This service also boosts the market value of the flats.
The firm is confident that the ONYX Hospitality Group can help build the trust and confidence of investors in the 5-star services that are normally only offered by super-luxury condominiums, she said, adding that this is the first premium condo providing “luxury services”.
The “luxury services” on offer are much like those a 5-star hotel provides for its guests, such as a 24-hour reception, 24-hour concierge, housekeeping, bellboy and doorman. Residents can also apply for extra services, such as limousine, spa treatment and private chef.
With the intention of delivering ultimate quality services, Sena has set up Elite Residences Co Ltd, a subsidiary, to manage the juristic entities for the company’s premium projects by sending a team to undergo regular training with the ONYX Hospitality Group.
Kazumasa Ohchi, senior general manager for Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp, said that hotel business is one of Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group’s core businesses, in which the company has expertise.
The group currently has 46 hotels comprised of 18 directly operated properties and 28 that are under franchise management, including Ritz-Carlton Osaka. Most of the properties covering more than 10,000 rooms are in Osaka, Tokyo and nearby cities. Ohchi said the group plans to expand hotels in the future.
