DTAC, Cambodian embassy to hold a concert for migrant workers

DTAC, Cambodian embassy to hold a concert for migrant workers

Cambodia’s Ambassador to Thailand, Ouk Sophorn, along with Chathip Ruchanaseree, vice governor of Pathum Thani, and Sukannee Lertsukwibul, chief of prepaid market and product division at Total Access Communications (DTAC), announced on Friday (September 27) that they were planning to fly in Cambodian superstars for a performance especially for Cambodian migrant workers.

The event, to be held at Pathum Thani’s Iyara Market, aims to maintain Cambodia’s top position in the migrant-labour segment.
With a rising number of Cambodian workers in Thailand, the embassy plays a critical role in taking care of its nationals as well as strengthening bilateral ties.
DTAC, meanwhile, will sponsor the event because it is a trusted mobile service provider among migrant workers and wants to further strengthen this relationship. DTAC will also be setting up a booth to engage with concertgoers.
Performing will be several top Cambodian stars including Sono Kad Jam, Veera Nij, Chai Nakkem and Tieng Supannee.
