The next level of satisfaction is introduced through a patient-centric approach, offering personalized care to allow patients to choose the most appropriate treatment options in accordance with their preferences. Besides premium services and an outcome-driven “centre of excellence”, BIH has implemented “Smart Hospital Concept” in line with the digital world.

Michael David Mitchell, director of Bangkok International Hospital, said that BDMS has more than 47 years of expertise in the healthcare industry, and Bangkok International Hospital (BIH) has always been committed to significantly improving the quality of healthcare service and advanced treatment. Combining the hospital with a five-star hotel, BIH consists of 172 beds, 5 operation rooms and an Intervention Suite. Patients can also have access to a dedicated personal butler from their room and anywhere in the hospital 24 hours a day.
BIH utilizes advanced technology to improve efficiency and safety, such as the Artis Pheno machine, a 3D fluoroscope that provides high-resolution 2D and 3D imaging for minimally invasive surgery in orthopaedics, resulting in more accuracy and precision as well as lowered postoperative complications and faster recovery time. The Hybrid Operating Room (Hybrid OR) has an imaging system such as CT scan and MRI scan combined with navigation system as well as other operation tools; the Biplane Interventional Suite for cerebral vascular angiography, uses two rotating cameras that recreate detailed real-time 3D views of the blood vessels; and 3-Tesla MRI scan which produces detailed images of brain, spine and bone as well as internal organs and tissues. This advanced imaging tool can be used to plan surgical treatments with high degree of precision, leading to effective treatment outcomes and safety. Robotic-Assisted Gait Training (RAGT), an important emerging field in rehabilitation care applies the high-intensity repetitive principles to restore and improve mobility and activity of patients with stroke or other neurological disorders.
