Ajinomoto supports lunch tray scheme for needy schools during Covid-19

Lunch trays worth Bt2.5 million were delivered to needy schools, sponsored by corporate house Ajinomoto.

Delivered under the “Ajinomoto for Thais: Better Nutrition, Stronger Nation” project, recently Hiroharu Motohashi (4th from right), vice chairman of Ajinomoto Foundation, together with company directors, took part in the presentation. The project aims to strengthen food safety and sanitation to needy schools with the problems of shortage and unsuitable lunch trays while conforming to the Office of Basic Education Commission (Obec)'s policy of preventing Covid-19 outbreak, the company said.
The supplies were received by Obec secretary-general Amnat Wichayanuwat, (4th from left), at the Ministry of Education.
The company has been conducting many projects related to nutrition improvement for Thais such as canteen construction, nutrition training, and training follow-up for better results of the lunch programme for children for more than 40 years.
