The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has suspended broadcasts on the 1 Por Nor FM 98.5MHz radio station of Spring Radio from Thursday until next Monday (April 17), according to NBTC secretary general Takorn Tantasith.

The regulator claimed it has received complaints that the station was airing inappropriate content, which could affect national security. The station programmes were being suspended pending investigation.

The NBTC has summoned at 10am on April 17 the timeslot concessionaire to seek clarifications.
