Soft loan registration open
The Industry Ministry is now open for the registration of manufacturing plants and other businesses sufferring from flooding and wanting soft loans.
Industry Minister Wannarat Charnnukul said that they could repay the loans within 7 years and will be charged 3 per cent as interest rate in the first three years. The market rate is applied in the latter four years.
Business eligible for the soft loans include hotels, restaurants, hospitals and logistics companies. Online registration is available at www.diw.go.th/flood54 or by mail to all agencies under the Industry Ministry. The registration period will last until January 31, 2012.
