US parents offended by "gutter mouth" toy
Washington - A talking baby doll is making US parents see red because they think it has a potty mouth, US media reported.
Shoppers are complaining to toy seller Toys R US that its You & Me Interactive Triplets doll greets them with the words "crazy bitch."
"I have a 6 month old daughter, no way would I ever let her have something like that," parent Schuyler Hawley told Elmira, New York's WETM television Friday.
In a comment on the Toys R US website, one customer complained, "I bought these babies for my granddaughter's birthday, but I won't be giving them to her. The doll in the pink outfit seems to have a gutter mouth."
Toys R Us spokeswoman Jennifer Albano told the Myrtle Beach Sun-News it's just "baby babble."
"These dolls are sold nationwide, and we have not gotten widespread complaints about them," she said.
The company says offended shoppers can have their money back.//DPA
