Skytrain passengers hit 600,000 in August
Bangkok skytrain's average daily ridership surpassed 600,000 for the first time in August, 2013.
BTS Group Holdings' website showed that the average daily ridership in the month was 600,323. The average ridership on weekday was 668,302.
In the month, the total ridership hit 18.6 million, up 12.23 per cent from the same period last year.
In the past 12 months, the skytrain has witnessed a continued increase in the number of passengers, from 16 million in September 2012.
