Female teacher killed, another injured along with police in Pattani blast
A female teacher was killed another was severely injured when Muslim insurgents detonated a home-made bomb to ambush them while they were being escorted by police to their school in Pattani's Khokpho district at 9 am Thursday.
A policeman was also severely injured.
Police said Patimoh Saemaesae, a teacher of Ban Tharua School, died on her way to hospital.
Lamduan Chuduang, another teacher of Ban Tharua, and Pol Sen Sgt Maj Pradit Iamsri were rushed to the Khokpho Hospital.
