Over 100 tourism firms urges minister to oppose Krabi power plant
Over 100 tourism firms in Krabi have signed a petition for the tourism and sports minister to oppose the Egat Plc's plan to build a coal-fired power plant in the southern province.
The petition was submitted to Charnwit Pholchiwil and Phasit Phumchusri, inspectors-general of the Tourism and Sports Ministry who were visiting Krabi Wednesday.
