Police chief proposes tighter control of Internet
Police Commissioner General Pol Gen Somyos Pumpanmuang Wednesday proposed the use of single Internet gateway so that the authorities could check and filter out inappropriate information and photos.
Somyos raised the proposal after he said the authorities had found that a website abroad, daengdeedee.com spread rumours about a possible countercoup.
