Buddhist woman killed in Narathiwat

Muslim insurgents gunned down a Buddhist woman in Narathiwat’s Sungai Kolok district Tuesday morning and left a note the killing was a reprisal for an attack against a mosque in Yala.
Waewta Charntae, 35, was shot in the back, right arm and head while she was riding her motorcycle on a road in frotn of Pupoh School at 7:30 am.
The assailants left a note, saying they avenged for the authorities firing M79 grenades at a mosque in Yala’s Bannang Sata district Monday night.
