University offers to accept rice as tuition fees
Rangsit University will now accept rice as payment for tuition fees from students whose parents are farmers, lecturer Suriyasai Katasila said Wednesday.
The university will also offer scholarships to children of rice farmers, Suriyasai said in a Facebook post Wednesday. He explained that these are measures the university has come up with in a bid to help farmers cope with the price crisis.
