“Many may see the order as not being effective, meaning that the NCPO is not trustworthy or unable to control situations,” Prayut said. “But the NCPO actually wants society to see that this is mutual problem of people nationwide – that bad people can’t be curbed by any law.”
The NCPO wants everyone to come to the realisation that they do not need to push burdens onto the military, the premier said.
“This is a fate that all Thai people have to choose by themselves. No one can help them,” he said. “I want to tell all people to brainstorm together, not only with the Dhammakaya case.”
