NTT launches IT infrastructure management service

NTT Communications has launched its Eye-on Managed Service for enterprises in Thailand to efficiently and smoothly manage their IT infrastructure, including domestic networks, the Internet and server systems.

NTT Com is the ICT solutions and international communications business within NTT Group.
The new service is ideal for organisations with a complex IT infrastructure or multiple branch connections, including manufacturers, chain stores and multinational companies with offices in Thailand.
The service’s capability can be served more than 1,500 customers.
The service provides 24/7 system monitoring and network operation management.
If any error or system unreachable is identified, a support team of more than 50 technicians will notify the customer via email, SMS and phone.
Once the problem is fixed, another message will be sent to confirm the system recovery.
Masatoshi Tsuboi, deputy vice president and COO of strategy, product and service in the Data Centre Department at NTT Communications (Thailand), said the Eye-on Managed Service provides full-cycle network monitoring for customers of NTT Com’s data centre, enterprise cloud or networking services.
It specifically helps them to minimise the interruption of running network servers and applications.
IT infrastructure, including network connectivity and security, is vital for business, so even infrequent crashes can cause tremendous damage to a company.
“Our new Eye-on Managed Service enables a company to avoid this risk by managing their network systems efficiently.”
High-quality monitoring and operations management performed by the service are based on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library standard, a set of practices for IT service management that focuses on aligning IT services with specific business needs.
