11 Cambodian workers arrested for attempting to sneak into Thailand

Sa Kaew immigration police on Wednesday arrested 11 Cambodian workers at a border checkpoint after they were found to be carrying other people’s immigration papers.

The eight male and three female Cambodians were arrested at the Klong Luek border checkpoint in Sa Kaew’s Aranyaprathet district.

They told the officers after their arrest that they had paid Bt500 to Bt800 each for the immigration cards.

The Cambodians were sent to the Klong Luek police station for legal action and deportation.
