Chinese express delivery firm opens service centres in Thailand, Vietnam
SF Express, a subsidiary of SF Holdings, an express delivery firm based in Shenzhen, China, recently announced that its service centres in Vietnam and Thailand had formally opened for business, providing export and import express delivery services to local companies and individuals.
The company says the openings of the two offices are further evidence of its continued efforts to invest in and expand its network in the Asean region, on the heels of the opening of service centres in Singapore and Malaysia.
The company says Vietnam and Thailand are its two most vital markets in the Asean region as well as important trade partners targeted by the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, the Chinese government's programme to enhance economic ties with the countries of Eurasia.
By optimising operations at each service centre to leverage the local infrastructure, the company says it is able to offer the best in quality, efficient and convenient international express delivery services by making use of a variety of transportation options in the region.
SF Express currently offers express services linking Vietnam, Thailand, Greater China, the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia.
The company also offers export services from Vietnam and Thailand to Cambodia, Myanmar, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Canada and Australia.
SF Express Thailand and Vietnam offers pick-up and delivery services throughout both countries, as well as personalised services that include pick-up at door and service-station drop-off, in addition to multilingual customer services across Vietnam and Thailand.
The vast majority of the employees in Vietnam and Thailand, from management to couriers and customer-service representatives, have been locally hired, with the aim of better meeting expectations at the local level and providing fully localised services, the company says.
SF Express says it plans to expand the networks in the two countries further, offering local customers convenience combined with quality services.
