Police to probe assets of former MP Chada after firearms arrest
Authorities will investigate former MP Chada Thaiseth’s assets on suspicion that they may include ill-gotten gains.
Chada, who is on a police list of “mafia-style” figures, was arrested along with members of his entourage in Uthai Thani province on Saturday for allegedly carrying firearms into public without permission.
Although Chada and four others have already been released on Bt50,000 bail each, police seized four of his cars for examination.
