Bangkok still on tier two of US' 2017 Tip report

Thailand remains on tier two on the watchlist of the US State Department's 2017 Trafficking in Person or Tip report released on Tuesday.
The report was unveiled by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.The It said, "Thailand is a source, destination, and transit country for men, women, and children subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking."
Thai victims of trafficking and some of the estimated three to four million migrant workers in Thailand are forced, coerced, or defrauded into labor or sex trafficking.
Government of Thailand does not fully meet the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking; however, it is making significant efforts to do so.
