Niwat Wattanayommanaporn said on Tuesday that the Fine Arts Department had already been informed of the discovery.&nbsp; 
According to him, the fossils, skeletons and artefacts were found inside Sa Yuan Thong Cave about 100 metres from the entrance. This cave is located in Krabi&rsquo;s Ao Luk district.&nbsp;

Ancient remains found in Krabi cave

A volunteer for the Fine Arts Department has discovered what he believes are apple-snail fossils, ancient human skeletons, and prehistoric artefacts in a Krabi cave.
