A Bangkok man has been arrested for allegedly selling methamphetamine in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Kittipong Dokthaisong, 26, from Thung Khru in Bangkok, was arrested at his rented house in Tambon Nai Mueang in Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima.

Police were tipped off about a man who’d parked his motorcycle in the shade of a tree beside Sampheng Market and was acting suspiciously in his handling of a packet of instant noodles.

They waited for the man to leave and found 600 meth pills inside the packet.

A second squad followed the man to his house and arrested him, discovering 5,400 more pills.

Police said Kittipong confessed to buying the drug from a former prison inmate to resell.
