Mother found dead after little girl asks neighbour for food
A mother was found killed in her rented room in Samut Prakan after her five-year-old girl knocked on a neighbour’s door to ask for food, saying her mother would not wake up.
The neighbour answered the door at 7pm on Friday, and alerted police after finding the body of Chandee Saengfa, 32 in her room.
Chandee’s new husband, identified only as Em, 31, had disappeared.
Neighours told police that the woman used to be a widow with one girl until Em moved in to live with her three or four months ago.
Her body sustained injuries to the chest and head.
The girl told the neighbour that her mom had quarrelled with her dad. She said her mother went to sleep and would not wake up, and she was hungry.
