King offers relief to flood-hit Phichit residents

His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on Friday provided relief to the flood-affected people of Phichit province.

Many areas of Phichit were still inundated, as the Yom River overflowed affecting more than 9,445 families in the province.

HM the King sent 3,100 flood relief kits to people affected in the Bueng Na Rang and Pho Prathap Chang districts. This province is one of the most affected areas in the Chao Phraya River Basin due to floods this year.

The King’s representative, Maj-General Suriyan Chiangtawan,gave away the flood relief kits to the flood-affected people of the two districts.

Phichit has been hit by floods since July 21.
