Landslide shuts down traffic on Tak road
Officials in western Tak province were on Tuesday rushing to clear a road blocked by a landslide triggered by heavy rains.
The road connecting Umphang, Phop Phra and Mae Sot districts was rendered impassable at kilometre marker 60-62 in Umphang.
Highway Office 2 (Mae Sot) director Sanit Thongma quickly ordered workers and heavy machinery to the scene to clear the road.
