With red flag removed, NokScoot adds another Boeing 777-200 to fleet

NokScoot, Thailand’s medium-haul low cost airline, added a fourth big jet with a special Thai religious blessing ceremony at Don Muang International Airport on November 9.

“This fourth B777-200 will help us further expand our network and elevate Thailand’s aviation industry and image,” said CEO Yodchai Sudhidhanakul.
“Now that the red flag has been removed by the International Civil Aviation Organization, we will move forward with our plan to embark on services to Japan and Korea, in addition to more flights to China”, said Yodchai. New service will begin to Xian, China on December 9..
The new aircraft is named Fah Sai, or “Clear Blue Sky”.
