AIA named best real estate investment manager in Thailand
International financial magazine Euromoney has named AIA Thailand the country’s best realty-investment manager.
In its 13th Annual Real Estate Awards, Euromoney noted AIA’s highly successful performance in developing and managing two international grade-A office buildings in Bangkok – AIA Capital Centre and AIA Sathorn Tower.
AIA Capital Centre on Ratchadapisek Road is fully occupied, while AIA Sathorn Tower on Sathorn Road has 90 per cent lease commitments. Just Co, a co-working-space provider based in Singapore, recently joined its list of international tenants.
“The very key to our success is down to local expertise and AIA Group’s commitment to real estate investment in Thailand,” said AIA Thailand chief financial officer Chun-Hung Lin.
Euromoney’s awards are based on an annual survey that takes into account peer nominations and “voter-participation scores” of senior realty bankers, developers, investment managers, corporate end-users and banks worldwide.
Euromoney said its 2017 survey, conducted from March 3 to May 8, received 2,462 valid responses.
