King sends relief items to Narathiwat flood victims

His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn had his representative deliver flood-relief items to 800 flood-hit families in Narathiwat province on Sunday.

Provincial governor Suraporn Phrommul, in his capacity as head of the Rajaprajanukroh Foundation’s Narathiwat branch, presented relief bags to 500 families from Chanae district and 300 families from Joh I Rong district at the Chanae District conference hall at 8am.

He then went on to present relief bags to another 1,000 families at the Sungai Padi District conference hall.

Floods in the southern province of Narathiwat have affected 172,691 residents in 50,393 households. The situation is now back to normal.
