Thailand and Singapore yacht shows gear up for 2018

The Thailand Yacht Show and the Singapore Yacht Show are Asia’s leading yacht shows and luxury maritime lifestyle platforms.

Two halves of the same whole, the shows dazzle visitors and industry experts alike with the highest number of superyachts and regional debuts on display, exclusive experiences and engaging social events, the organisers say.
The third edition of the Thailand Yacht Show will take place on February 22-25 at Phuket’s Ao Po Grand Marina.
The eighth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show will take place from April 12-15 at the world class ONE°15 Marina in Sentosa Cove.
Both shows are owned and operated by Verventia Pte Ltd, based in Singapore.
Andy Treadwell, CEO of Verventia, says: “We are proud to see that both new and returning companies from a wide range of yachting, boating and lifestyle sectors are quickly confirming their presence at the shows. Our main objective remains to be working together with the authorities in Asia and global industry leaders to create strong and sustainable platforms that will allow the whole Asian boating market to grow by attracting the wealth-generating potential of the superyacht industry.”
Thailand Yacht Show
Organised in partnership with the Thai government and Tourism Authority of Thailand, one of the main focuses of the Thailand Yacht Show is superyacht charter in Thailand and around the region. It is a unique experiential event that allows potential buyers and charterers to climb aboard and trial a wide range of watercraft including sailboats, sports-fishers, dinghies, tenders, water sport boats and day-cruisers in addition to superyachts.
Held during the Lunar New Year, when Phuket is buzzing with regional visitors, the show will emphasise how charters and on-the-water activities can contribute to enhance both the yachting lifestyle and tourism in Southeast Asia.
Singapore Yacht Show
Following year-on-year success and growth, the 2017 Show welcomed an unprecedented 14,000-plus visitors in four days, over 20 premières and 150 exhibiting brands. Singapore is the business hub of Southeast Asia, and the Singapore Yacht Show is where and when the business of yachting occurs. The very best of the global yachting industry – leaders and owners, the finest shipyards, top yacht designers, main broker agencies and superyacht equipment suppliers – gather for four days of intensive meetings and viewings with the highest net-worth clientele in Asia.
Fully supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, this globally recognised on-water exhibition showcases the biggest number of world-class yachts in the whole of Asia. The show’s glamorous parties, power networking, and enviable range of prestige brand partners epitomise the luxury lifestyle.
