For the first lap of 19 kilometres, Toon ran from Saeng Tawan village in Kamphaeng Phet&rsquo;s Kosumphi Nakhon district to Wang Chao Hospital in Tak.

A roadside crowd waited for his appearance, cheered him on, and handed him their cash. 
So far, Toon has run for 35 days, covering 1,728 kilometres. The campaign has so far raised Bt815.425 million for 11 major public hospitals.

Charity run hero Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai left Kamphaeng Phet and reached Tak on Day 45 of his 2,191-km fundraising run early on Friday.
