Couple killed in Ayutthaya accident
A married couple died in Ayutthaya early Monday when their truck rear-ended a bus on Phaholyothin Road beneath the Bang Pa-in elevated highway in Tambon Chieng Rak Noi.
Onsri Simarit, 64, and Khamton Saengwong, 54, died at the scene.
Police have yet to determine why the truck hauling lime struck the bus, whose driver, Wasant Wutthisan, 50, was returning to Bangkok without passengers.
