Baby abandoned behind bus stop in Samut Prakan
A baby girl was found abandoned behind a bus stop in Samut Prakan’s Bang Bo district on Tuesday morning.
Police said passengers waiting for their buses heard a baby crying behind the stop in front of Wat Bang Bo on Bang Na-Trat road at Kilometre Marker 29 in Tambon Bang Bo.
They checked and found the newborn baby was wrapped in two towels and left at an abandoned noodle stall behind the bus stop.
They then called police, who sent an ambulance to take the girl to the Bang Bo Hospital. Police said they would try to locate the mother to take legal action against her.
