The bus driver, Rachen Sawaengsuk 46, said the bus – operated by Coral Travel – had been taking 36 Russians from Phuket to the airport in Krabi when a big bike cut in front of him.
He said the motorcycle had been racing two other big bikes, and that all three sped away after the accident.
Coral Travel later sent another bus to take all the tourists to the airport to catch their flight.
