Labour Department officials and police, acting on complaints from residents, rousted two Indians and a Myanmar man in downtown Nakhon Ratchasima on Wednesday for selling roti and peanuts.

That kind of work is reserved for Thais.

Preecha Intarachathorn, the province’s chief employment officer, said the Myanmar man identified only as Hassan, 18, was arrested for selling roti at Ban Natthanee Village on Sirirat Thani Road.

The Indians, identified as Bhodu, 21, and Govind, 22, were arrested elsewhere for selling peanuts.
