Fire sweeps through construction workers’ quarters in Pathum Thani
A fire swept through the living quarters of workers at a construction site in Pathum Thani’s Thanyaburi district on Thursday morning.
The residences were empty at the time and no one was injured.
Pratunam Chulalongkorn police were alerted at 10am and had Tambon Lam Sam Kaew dispatch three fire engines to the Thongchai Park Ville housing estate.
It took more than an hour to quell the blaze that engaged all nine buildings housing workers.
The cause of the fire was still unknown at press time.
